Spalted Sycamore Bowl

Spalted sycamore bowl, measures 8"x3". Not very satisfied with how the rim turned out, almost a non-rim. All comments and suggestions welcome.

This is a very nice bowl from a nice piece of wood. The rim looks just fine to me. Are you concerned that the edges are not crisp?

Tim - I like it! Very pretty wood - great colors! Nothing wrong with the rim! I like how it slightly slants inward and also like that the inner edge is softened. Nice work!

Question on the foot - did you recess the inner area of the foot?

Thanks for all the compliments guys. Ted, what I was concerned about was that the inside edge of the rim wasn't crisp, so yes. Steve, I did recess the inner area of the foot and it sits level, no rocking.
