teak oil finish question

I am building a padio table right now and used watco teak oil to finish it. following the directions on the can I placed two coats on and have now let dry for 24 hours, in the right light there is silver streaks in the wood. The questions are:
is this where the grain raised?
if so can i sand it to remove these streaks?
what grit? and after sanding do i reapply the teak oil?
