I finally cleaned off my table saw top and finished my lathe stand. The top of this stand is a paralam beam that the lathe's previous owner gave me when I bought the lathe. The base is laminated pine lumber from the borg.

Gary....Nicely done bench! I need to do something similar for storage under my lathe. Nicely done!

Looks like you've got the extension too. That's what I need just to get the tailstock out of the way.

Very nice cabinet. I'm sure you will enjoy it....Ron

Gary, That is a bench to be proud of! Looks better than some of the cabinets in houses I lived in when I was a young bachelor! Keep up the good work, it becomes you!

Nice stand. I really like the storage space and tool rack that you incorporated into it. I have a Nova 1624 and have been planning on building a stand for it for a while and I really like the looks of this one. Have you had a chance to use it yet, and if so, how well does it dampen vibration? About how much does it weigh?
