If your racks are spaced four feet apart as recommended, have you noticed any bowing in your dressed 4/4 stock? I just got this rack and loaded it up with some maple yesterday, but am a little concerned if this has been a problem. Thanks

I'm looking at my rack right now, pretty heavily loaded up, and spaced at 4'.

The only bowing I see is an old thin 1/2" shelf panel on the bottom shelf that has seen much better days and is supporting about 100 pounds of rough cut on top of it!

I like my rack!

I had the same concern you did - I didn't trust them to be four feet apart so I splurged and bought three sets at a Woodcraft sale and put them on every 16 inch stud. It allows me to put 10' boards on my rack without worrying about it.
