I attended a demo of a local penturning group. The demonstrator said he made his fountain pens a little longer to accomidate a spare cartridge. He gave the measurement and of course, I did not write it down . To shorten the story....I eyeballed the length I wanted and added a section of tube to the end of the pen to make a longer fountain pen. I could have gone a little shorter. This is the result. It is Amboyna Burl/ CA finish. I included a standard size pen for scale. My wife loves it. It currently carries Private Reserve Spearmint. I think I am turning into a fountain pen snob.....so many colors!
