Stott Superthin Parting Tool

Does anyone know what the proper way is to sharpen the Chris Stott parting tool? I've never sharpened mine and it doesn't cut as well as it used to. Also, should I leave a burr on it?

I just lay it on a diamond stone and hone it till sharp. Just be sure to maintain the angle of the edge.
