I was tempted to post this under the heading "Mine's Probably Bigger than Yours," but I resisted. Check the incredible turnings on this site. His "process" section is really impressive.

It's not just that his work is large. His finishing is pretty amazing as well.

72" he must use a well rig . i looked 5 times for saw marks. we need to talk ,it would take 2.5 " bar maybe 3" to go that deep, be a 600 lb boring bar. thank you for posting this, he must be kool he has a oliver. john t:D

Steve's right. "Big" is an understatement. There is a Youtube video on his site which explains further some of the things he does on the outside, but like John, I would love to see what tools he uses to hollow these things.
