To avoid hijacking another thread, I cut this from a thread about block planes.
Here's a comparison of the three Veritas block planes and the LN.
All are comparible in performance, but differ in ergonomics and aethetics.

Every time I see that picture I am reminded that planes almost always look primitive and strictly functional. Does anyone have any speculation on what will come out of Rob Lee's toy store next?
I'm imagining a low angle jack or a smooth using the same aesthetic and materials. Or perhaps something completely new?
