I just got one that seems like a good deal so far. It's just missing a couple of things. hopefully I'll be able to find them. There are three things I need:
1) drive belt from motor to transmission
2) tailstock
3) tool rest

Anyone have any information concerning this machine? or a source for the parts?

Try this link, it was about all I could find.

Thanks Dick, I had already found that site. It was there that I found that Yates-American had sold their "J" line (for home users) to Broadhead Garret. I sent them both emails to see what would happen. No word from Y-A but a guy from Braodhead sent me an email and asked for my address, he is going to send me copies of everything they have.
it still doesn't answer the problem of the tailstock and the toolrest. We have a Delta 12" (same size as the Y-A that I bought) at work and I'm going to bring them home and try them for size. If they work that will give me a direction to go.

Pat,

You might ask over on the OWWM Yahoo chat room to see if anyone knows of a parts source.

Also, eBay is a good source if you are patient.

Wes

PS: We need pictures!!
