Eggs?

Here is a basket of eggs that I turned this weekend. I also turned the bowl a while ago. My plan was to make the "grass" from some really green shavings, but couldn't fine a really wet log. The shapes are a little off, especially the first and largest one. I used cherry, oak and poplar.

We had a bunch of chickens when I was growing up. You'd be surprised how much variety there is in egg shapes. None of yours are outside the norm. It does look like you might have a double yolk egg mixed in there, but that's all to the good!

Nice basket of eggs. Very realistic looking eggs. I've also gathered a bunch of eggs over the years. I've collected some eggs that look like your white eggs with the exception that mine looked much more dirty & messy!:)
