Don't give me any grief on why I bought a cheap dado set, it was a choice between getting a cheap one vs not having one at all. Anyway it does not leve a flat bottom as expected. Turns out all the chippers are about 1/32" shorter than the blades.
Any ideas on how to correct this problem or work around it.

Zahid, you can clean up the bottom of the dado slots with chisels or a router. Or, a sanding block made to fit the dado slot.

You can take the dado set back, or, take it to your local saw blade sharpener and have them grind all the chippers and outer cutters to the same diameter.

Maybe just cut to the chipper depth and use the deeper cuts on the sides for extra glue?

My Delta dado set cuts like crap... it never occured to me a sharpening house could grind the cutters so everyone is the same diameter....

I wonder what that would cost? I may need to make a few calls. Then again, I'd pbly be better off saving the cash and putting towards a Freud set w/ the adjustable feature.
