Suction Question

I have a Delta 50-760 with a wye connection that I usually have hooked up to my table saw by an above-table DC and the under-cabinet port.

When I want to hook it up to my bandsaw (which has a single port), am I losing a lot of suction/air flow by leaving the other port connected to the table saw?

In other words, do I need to cap the other intake?

es you must cap the unused port.

As David said, "Cap it".

Every CFM of airflow being pulled through your table saw is airflow that is not picking up and removing sawdust from your bandsaw. Capping the unused port probably won't double the flow through the bandsaw, but it will significantly increase the flow and improve collection at the bandsaw.
