I am screwing/gluing up some jatoba 1/2" x 4" boards, along the edges to make a nice window frame for *inside* my bathroom. The boards are twisted (about 1" of twist over a 6' length), and I can only glue them up straight when I clamp them pretty strongly with a series of clamps. Therefore, the finished pieces will be under a lot of internal tension. How bad is this? Will the screws/glue hold permanently (am using Titebond II) , or am I asking for trouble?

Tx in advance - matt

Not sure about this wood, but I give it three years. Consider sunlight, temp changes and humidity changes.:(
