I'm working on replacing the knives on my planer but I don't have the "knife setting jig" that I'm supposed to use. I want to use a dial indicator but I don't know the specs for this. Does anyone know how high the knives sit above the cutterhead?
I saw a delta knife setting jig that sets the knives 1/8" high but its for a 3" cutterhead and mine is 2.895. Might that work?
