I have this little Senco 1/2 hp, 1-gal compressor with a coil up 1/4" hose. My concern is I"d like to replace the existing hose with something longer (maybe 25' ). I'm worried that with longer hose, it may not perform very well, if at all. Any thoughts? Thanks, Vince

Go ahead and replace it. It will still work fine.

I won't make any difference to your compressor, it'll actually give you a tiny bit more storage capacity.

I have the same compressor, and I've used up to 100' of 1/4" hose, and at that length the compressor sometimes has a hard time keeping up (using a 23g pin nailer) however, I've never had a problem with a 50' 1/4" hose, which is the typical length that I use. I've even used a 50' 3/8" hose without a problem.
