A couple of months back I asked you guys for some advice on how to make an arched top for a CD cabinet my sister asked me to build. Thanks to all for the very helpful input.
Considering all the suggestions I decided to go with beveled pieces joined with splines to keep them aligned. After the glue dried I planed and sanded the top round.
The door is all M&T joints. The face frame is held together with pocket screws.
The toughest part of the project was the feet. I tried to cut them to shape with a jig saw, but that was just gonna butcher 'em up. I ended up doing them on the scroll saw. The hard part was balancing the long sides up on the saw while trying to make a fairly accurate cut.
