Vector cut masonite-eucatex

I am cutting 3/16 masonite at 4/100/500 ( Epilog 45 Helix) as recommended in the epilog manual for alderwood. I am on my third pass and still not thru the material yet. when the dealer set up the machine he cut thru the same material in one pass. being a newbie to lasers I was trying to absorb so much info that I neglected to write that setting down somewhere, Has anyone cut masonite before and what settings did you use?

I have 20S/100P/600ppi for 45W... are you sure the focus is correct?

Welcome, Dave!

There is a lot to absorb, be patient. And 99.9% of what you need to know is here on the Creek somewhere (search feature is very useful!). I can't help you with cutting masonite, maybe someone else can, but I recommend calling your dealer and asking him what settings he used. Simplest solution.

Dan and Dee I did a manual focus and ran the file again,the cut is complete but the sap factor has made the pieces sticky, uh I call do over!

That 20 cent piece of masonite is ruined.lol

Its really my first burn ever on my own, so I dont feel too bad, Thanks for all the info I shall return.
