I have a Daniel Marshall humidor. I bought the smallest, cheapest one they make. It holds 50 cigars and is painted black. VERY well made! I think I paid around $200 for it.
Got me thinking -- is there money to be made building humidors in my own home workshop? Not sure if there as many cigar smokers out there as there were during the 90's (the "boom" years). But the more high end humidors seem to go for hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Being an occasional cigar smoker, I do have a sense of what goes into a well built stogie-holder. Some of them are really works of art, too! Could be a fun thing to do part time.
Any thoughts from you guys who actually build them?
