I'd be interested in comments from someone who own this sander about what they think of it. Or, anyone that want to give an opinion.

It is the: RIKON 6" x 48" Belt / 10" Disc Sander

Well I am no expert on sanders and have not been a woodworking for years and years.

With that said I had one just about like that, it was a Delta and I used it a lot until I got my Ridgid Oscillating Edge Belt / Spindle sander.

I found the Delta just set there and got dusty, I did sell and have never missed it. The Ridgid is a great little sander and is very versatile.

Thanks Bill.

My friend has one of those Ridgid sanders. I went to his house last night and was going to use it, but he had messed up the threads on the spindle nut, changing from the belt to the spindle. Had to order an new one. I'm going to give that sander some more thought. Might be all I need.
