I came up with an idea for over lapping bowls. After turning the 2 bowl one, I wondered if I could do 3 and then 4. I had to counter balance it as I turned the differen centers. The walnut is two boards glued together and the outside was cut on the band saw and routed the bottom after turning the inside. 1 1/4" x 7" Antique oil finish.

Steve if you look at the picture of the lathe the green steel bolted on the top was moved each time the chuck was moved.Thanks all for your encouragement, it was a fun project. Ron

Ron, They are very retro looking, I remember having some that were hand carved like that when I was a kid. The turned ones you have done are much nicer!
