If you have ever been to Italy you will really appreaciate their craftsmanship, whether woodworking, art etc. I was amazed to see the quality of not only furniture, but almost everything in Italy. Plus, any culture that insists on 3 hr lunch breaks has a lot going for it. Siesta is my favorite, 3 hrs of drining espresso, chatting and relaxing in the Italian sun.

If anyone ever finds themselves in Italy, make a point to go see craftsman off the beaten path, you'll be impressed. I was. We met a small time winemaker, a gondola maker, a woodcarver and a glass blower. All did exquisite work and really made me appreciate the level of which Italians appreciate well made goods.

And they really know how to cook. I seriously gained about 10 lbs with all of their wonderful food
