I have to remove veneer that appears to be glued with hide glue from a curved panel. Any suggestions on methods for removing the old veneer?

Do you have a hot air gun? Heat it up! I'm not sure if a blowdryer will be hot enough but you could start there.

Never done it, but I always suspected that a cloths iron with a little steam may work really well.

Ditto,Steve. Also use a thin spatula. The best thing is an OLD THIN bacon turner. I don't think they make them that thin anymore, but in flea markets you can find them that taper down thinner than paper on the leading edge. Those really can get into joints,etc..
