I'm about to build a deck, what saw blade would you recommend for pressure treated wood?
Thanks
Dennis

Are you talking about using a circular saw or table saw? I have this Diablo blade on my circular saw and it works great for PT wood. http://www.amazon.com/Freud-D0740X-Finishing-Knockout-PermaShield/dp/B00008WQ2H/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1237819897&sr=1-1
The description says "ideal for decking". Can't beat the price. You can find them at HD or Lowes, can't remember which.

I found that a good 24 tooth blade and my Compound slide saw worked well building my deck.

If you cut treated lumber on a saw with a cast iron table, be sure to remove all trace of sawdust from the surface as soon as you can. If you leave it overnight, you will most likely find rust spots on your cast iron. Almost any blade will cut treated lumber with no problem. Rip cuts can be hazardous as the lumber tends to close up on the blade due to moisture differences. Be aware that the sawdust is toxic and shold not be breathed.
