Made a trip this week from the southeastern corner of Virginia to the southwestern part of the state to pick up about 1000 bd ft of air dried 4/4 cherry. Lengths 10' to 12' and widths from 6" to about 12" - mostly around 8". My friend, Jeff Baker, his wife and one of his dogs, and I drove across Virginia and back to get the load of cherry.

This is the temporary stack in Richard Temple's drive where he put it after bringing it down off the mountain.
Best part of the trip was meeting a fellow Creeker, Richard Temple. Although the visit was way too short because we had to head back home, we got to see his shop and some of his work.

Here it is all loaded up and ready to head back home.

Thanks, Richard for your hospitality and getting the wood ready to load up.
Regards,
Ted
