vacuum - lockable wand?

I bought a Fein mini-turbo w/ wand and fittings (no longer distributed). The wand has friction fit wand and fitting connections.

We now use it for cleaning our hardwood floors but find that the fittings too easily disconnect. Does a vendor sell "lockable" wand and fittings that won't disconnect? - Festool? Bosch? Would need to fit the std. Fein hose too.

Push the fittings together while giving them a 1/4 turn twist and see if they don't stay together better.

You might check out your local Home Depot. I believe they have a car vacuum kit, that contains locking extensions, as well as the 1 1/4" flexible (more Fein like) hose.
