Curtis, I'm the same way, always thinking about cutting down a killer tree with a huge burl. haha

What a stroke of luck. This could be huge for you, young man! You are a turning animal and he's the guy that can channel all that exuberance into something wonderful. I think if it were me, I would be too excited to sleep at night.

there is a burl about 2 minutes away (30 seconds if i drive) that wouls put all of the burls that have been on this site to shame, by a lot. i cant get my stepdad to stop and let me ask because he was offended by a certain political sign the tree owner had in their yard. (stupid stupid) but now maybe i can get the Mr. Ebner to stop on his way from school. the tree is dead and has crown root burl about 3-4ft across, and it has pin burl the whole 15ft of tree that is left, including one spot that is so big that the owners 3 cats sleep on the burl growth at the same time
