I've been looking for a good book on jointer technique as I always struggle with the advanced stuff like face jointing long thin boards.

Tonight I came across jointer & planer fundamentals by Rick Peters. Has anyone read this book, does it go beyond the basics?

I'm reading it right now. Got it from the library. It's very informative for me, but I don't know anything at all about jointers and planers!!

Most of this information is available on the web. Having it in one book is convenient and the pictures are very detailed and full color.

I have a Joiner Basics story at the link below that might have some info that will help until you find a book. I am not aware of a good book on jointers, sorry.
