When did General lathe become part of General International? If buying used General, How old would the lathe have to be to know you are gettting a Canadian made General?

The "General" brand has been made in Canada for probably 75 years. Several years ago (maybe 15??) they added the "General International" line, which is made overseas, and compares pricewise to the other imports.
If it's made in Canada, it is just called General, and usually has a Canadian flag sticker on it.
If it's made overseas, the nameplate will say General International.
Maybe others can help me with more precise dates for the brand!
