The crew just finished cutting down a couple of trouble trees in my back yard. Every time there is a storm, we get some damage from falling branches. No more replacing busted fence sections. Cherry and Mullberry. The Cherry log is 15 ft. long and 24" at the bottom going to 16" on the top end. I'll be cutting and sealing tommorrow for future turnings. Anyone in this area that would like some, come on over. The sooner the better as I would like to start cleaning up the back yard.

Sean - I am sure it must be a relief to not have to worry about additional storm damages due to the trees! When it comes time to remove the stumps - pressure wash off the wood and check and see if you don't have some hidden treasures there! I have seen a lot of beautiful turnings created from wood that never saw the light of day!

Congrats on all your wood! Looking forward to seeing what you turn out of it!

Great wood gloat. I agree with Steve about looking at some of the wood in the ground. There is some amazing stuff under there.
