I made some small shop storage using some of the lee valley quick drawers. The first for under my drill press. At first, I was bummin' that the box that holds my forstner bits wouldn't fit into one of the drawers. They are pretty small. But, I realized that if I made the gap for the drawer an extra 1/8" or so, they would fit standing on end in a 3" drawer. So, a piece of plywood drilled and they're all there.
I spend way too much time making this, as I wanted to get back into practice. It is birch ply with oak banding. The top is some wormy maple I got pretty cheap. Really just wanted to see what it looked like finished. Finish is 2 coats satin arm-r-seal.
With 1 3" deep drawer left over. I hacked some scraps together and threw it under my TS extension. Someday, I'll do something better here, but this gets the push sticks, blade stabilizer, and splitter outa the way when I'm not using them.
