I'm in the process of fine tuning my Delta unisaw. Can anyone give me some suggestions on what to use to lube the trunnion gears?

Furniture paste wax is the preferred lubricant. Apply with an old toothbrush. Paste wax will not attract or hold saw dust.

I use Johnson's Paste Wax. The wax does an excellent job of lubrication and forms a thin hard crust on itself to keep sawdust from sticking to it. It goes on easily with an old toothbrush. I lube the gears and the trunion ways with it about once every 6 months. The top and fence also get Johnson's Wax every time that they need it, but I buff off the excess on the top and fence.

I like White Lightning, it is a self cleaning wax lubricant that is used for bicycle chains, cables and derailleurs, does not pick up sawdust as bad as many.
