Hi Everyone!

I've spent most of this morning trying to round over a few corners on the attached file. I've put black arrrows on the corners I'm trying to round over.

The attached file (saved in v10 format) is a bookmark and the sharp corners are not friendly to book pages.

Could someone help me out and getting these corners a little more page friendly?

Thanks,
Kevin

Which version of CorelDraw do you have?

If you have X3 or later:

To round object corners by filletingTo round object corners by filleting

1. Using the Pick tool http://www.sawmillcreek.org/images/pgx_pick_tool.jpg, select the object.
2. Click Window http://www.sawmillcreek.org/images/onestep.jpg Dockers http://www.sawmillcreek.org/images/onestep.jpg Fillet/Scallop/Chamfer.
3. In the Fillet/Scallop/Chamfer docker, choose Fillet from the Operation list box.
4. Type a value in the Radius box.

That will round ALL corners. Since you just want to round a couple. Use the shape tool to select the corner nodes that you want to round instead of using the Pick tool.

If you don't have X3 or X4, use the shape tool to delete the corner nodes, convert the new line segment (look on the property bar for the shape tool for a curve icon) to a curve and force the radius by dragging.

Hi Kevin,

Couldn't resist the Fish Fillet. LOL!

I used the Fillet tool with a setting of .02 and it accomplished what I believe you might've been looking for. I've attached the file in case anyone else might want the "Fish Fillet". :D

Us poor folks dont have X3 -- I am still stuck in X2 (sound better than 12)

Download this. I used it way before X3.
