Does any have vibration on Go490

Does anyone have vibration on G0490 (and) or Go490x jointer? If so I may have a fix.

Paul, don't bait us - let us in on the secret;) There have been a few threads on this issue, with problems ranging from a rough belt (recommended to change to a segmented v-belt, etc.) to motor mounting issues. What did you determine?

I worked in predictive maintenance, and the root cause of most of vibration was the motor base. If you squeeze the belt between your thumb and index finger you will see the motor base flex. It is no where stiff enough. This is what I did to stop the vibration, may not be the finial fix, but it will pass the penny test now.

I had quite a bit of vibration and found out the motor pulley was not in line with blade pulley. I don't think it will pass the penny test but it helped out quite a bit. I'm gonna try your stick method and see if I can get rid of the rest.

I wonder if the mount was redesigned, or beefed up, for the larger motor. The original design used a 1.5HP motor, and Grizzly uses 3HP(?) motor on their machines.

I never put the stock belt on going with a linkbelt during assembly. Co planer pulley alignment is a good thing as well. I get the click during shutdown as others have mentioned but it's nothing that would bother me. During operation it is smooth.
