This is from 1/4 of a dry cherry log. Measures 7-1/2" dia. x 10" tall. Walls 1/8" +. Finished with antique oil and buffed. The second photo shows the blank mounted on the lathe prior to rough turning.

Thanks George. I use a home made Jamieson D-Handle Captive rig. I have made 5 handles to go with the 5 boring bars. Kinda like chucks, you can never have too many. I have a Sorby, a Jordan, two Pencil, all 3/4" bars and one 1-1/8" x 22" long Jamieson style bar. If you want any more info just let me know.
