Found a great Machine

Hello Sawmillers,

I have found a fantastic Epilog 24 x 12 35 Watt. 8 months old still under warranty. Private sale so all the bells and whistles when buying a new machine now are an additional expense.

My Rep has offered me to extend warranty for 12 months, parts only, for $2,000 AUD. From all reports the machines are super reliable so do you feel the $2k is worth it?

I take delivery in 2 weeks and can't wait,,,,,,,,,,,the guy even through in $1,000 worth of samples to practice with. Get ready for a whole lot more questions.

I wouldn't spend the money for extending the warranty. The parts you may need would cost less than that. Tubes are the biggie and I don't know how much they are in Australia but even so I wouldn't spend the money.

I agree with Mike. I bought the same machine you're looking at used and even dropped off the back of the delivery truck. Nothing but a bit of alignment has ever been needed.
