Any other 3" ros other than the metabo

I am looknig for a 3" ros electric not air powered to help finish some my carved turnings, I found the metabo but it's $120 I was hoping to find one a little more economical.

I have one from SnapOn, but I don't think it was less than that, can't swear to it, its been a few years of hard running and it still works as advertised. I like it, it has a pistol grip and handles really well.

Bob,

Dynabrade makes a 3" ROS. It is driven by air. I have 2 5" ROS's and they are awesome sanders. Not a lot of moving parts. Nice thing about Dynabrade is that when you let off the trigger they stop immediately. Not like the electrics that keep on going.

thanks but I don't have a big compressor to run an air driven sander. I need an electric. I might need to bite the bullet and buy the metabo

FWIW I've had Metabo's big 12" CSMS for two+ years and it performs outstandingly well.

I have no issues with the design or build quality of the saw.
