Cocobolo Fountain Pen

This is my first time trying the Jr. Retro kit from CSUSA. The wood is cocobolo with copper accents. Your critiques are always welcome.

That's a very beautiful pen. The color of the wood is warmed and enhanced by the color of the pen kit's copper plating.

My only concern is with the copper plating -- it's not been all that durable. Per CSUSA's own durability rankings, copper plating (2 stars on a 5 star scale) falls between 10k gold plating (3 stars) and 24k gold plating (1.5 stars). Which is a shame. I think the copper color goes well with wood. Maybe they've improved the process.
