I picked up one of those closeout delta 34-184 tenon jigs at lowes recently. I assembled it and found the t-slot washers don't fit into my table saw miter gauge slots. My miter gauge slots are a little deeper than the reach of the tenon jig T-slot washers.
I put a couple spacers (smaller washers) between the guide bar and t-slot washers and it works fine that way.
I talked to delta and they sent me another guide bar, but it looks identical to what came with the tenon jig.
This isn't a real big deal since the instructions say to remove the washers if your saw is not equipped with t-slotted miter gauge slots.
My saw is a 1983 unisaw and I was wondering if anyone knew if the depth of the slot has changed over the years. Anyone have a similar problem?
Thanks.
