Lee, your wife wouldn't happen to have a recipe for pheasanat sausage, would she? There was this great restaurant in a town I live in once upon a time. They served the most remarkable pheasant sausage. I've been trying to find a good recipe ever since then.

You are not alone David. I'm not married, just in an extended stay relationship without a warranty. :D I went with the warranty once, only to find out it wasn't worth the paper it was written on.

I'm really not cynical about it at all (well, maybe just a tad). A good marriage is a wonderful thing. Congrats to all of you with good wives and good relationships. My SO just isn't the marrying kind, and that's okay. He does, however, love dogs - so that's a plus in his favor. If I locked him in the trunk he'd be very glad to see me when I let him out. He's claustrophobic.

Thanks Lee. The restaurant was an Italian one, and they used some seasoning or spice in the sausage that I could never quite put my finger on.

Sorry to have detoured off track. Back to the wife versus dog discussion. Hmmm. . . I wonder if there's anyone out there who has tried to marry their dog. Stranger things have happened!

I found it easier to cut and run. Did it twice, not cheap but much safer than the trunk method. :D You have the legal authority to put your dog down...........
