Looking for a source for cool blocks for a Grizzly 17". I can't seem to find anyone who makes that size.

Thanks

I can't find them for my Powermatic 143 either. I don't know what size your blocks but WoodCraft carries all these sizes

Cool blocks are actually graphite impregnated phenolic laminate and not ceramic and made by Olson. You may have to call Grizzly to see if their are other options available.

What size Cool Blocks do you need? What type of guides are on the saw now? Does Grizzly offer the type of holders for Cool Blocks?

Go to the Olson website (http://www.olsonsaw.com/cb.html) and click on the yellow mark to the left of the description. It will show the sizes that are availble. Look for the size, not the description of which saws they fit on.

Hi,
First thing I did was e-mail Grizzly. They don't sell them and pointed out their bandsaw ball bearing guides.
I'll have to measure when I get back home and figure something out.
I just recently got the saw, but I think the blocks need to be round.
Forgive my ignorance on this, its my first bandsaw.

I have a 16" Grizzly and I ordered a set of Olsen cool blocks from Woodcraft. The one that fit mine are 12mm or .472 inches round. That may be the ones you need. They are like $14 plus shipping.
