Has anyone had any experience or opinion on a Walker-Turner 10" table saw?
I might be able to acquire one and wonder if they are worth messing with.
Shape is supposed to be good but have not seen it yet.

Generally very highly regarded tools. Start your research here:

Provide some pics, Greg! Sounds interesting. My father picked up a W-T bandsaw a couple years ago: great saw! I agree with David, W-T is generally well thought off in the industry.

Check to see if it's three phase.

had one before. very nice saw.
sold that when i bought a pm66.

the only problem i had was with the throat plate.
the throat plate is of a strange shape - it is only on
one side of the blade. tough to find throat plates for this.
but you could make your own ZCI plates.

I used mine for 20 yrs. I had the same one side of the blade throat plate issue, but that is not the case for all the WT saws. Make sure the threaded clam that secures the blade tilting mechanism is in good shape. They were prone to breaking, and many have been sorta welded. Difficult to impossible to find a replacement for them. If its in good shape, its probably going to be an excellent performer.

I have a pair of Walker Turner drill presses and they are awesome, so cool that they may be art.....

Hey George,

What material did you use for the ZCI and what did you use to secure it?
