Small B Pear NE with 3 carved feet. This piece had a large bark inclusion across the tennon end that I really though would fail. Soaked it in CA and gave it a shot. Luckily it came out OK. 5 X 4.25 with 3 or 4 coats of satin wipe on Poly. I even remembered to include apic of the bottom...Bill

Bill,
WOW!! That is a beautiful N.E. The inclusion just really adds to the beauty. It sounds as if you had you doubts in the beginning. Thanks for staying with it and sharing your talent. The finish really sets off the Pear color. Great Piece!

Nice one Bill! The carved feet are cool. Am baffled by how you get the area between feet to blend perfectly with the bowl shape. Just skillful carving? If I did feet, would have to glue them on.

Bill - beautiful bowl! Great form! Love the color, all the bark and the finish! Amazing work on the feet! Haven't tried carving feet yet but sure hope I can figure out a way to blend it all in like you did! To me - that is the most impressive feature of the bowl! Very nice work!

Bill,

Like everyone else, I am really impressed with the overall bowl, but especially the carved feet! I think we all would like to know how to do them.

A beautilul bowl, Bill, then you just go overboard with those feet, great work. Keep it up.

The feet really accentuate an already beautiful bowl!
