Im currently using a Forrest Duraline blade for my TS. It works great but I need another one in the rotation? I was thinking of trying another one. Mines dull , dont want to drop another 160 for new duraline.

I am currently cutting pieces from 3/4" oak plywood using this blade, which I have used for a couple of years now.

I think I paid less than $40 at Rocklers for it. I get chip free cuts with smooth faces. Cuts in hard wood almost don't need sanding.

I use a Freud (Avanti) combo blade.
It rips wonderfully. Crosscuts on ply are passable without tape and 'perfect' with tape.

Uhm, how about having it sharpened?

I have CMT's Melamine Fine Cut Off (https://www.mcfeelys.com/product/CM-0210-10/CMT-10quot-80-Tooth-Melamine-Fine-Cut-Off-Blade-21008010) blade. 80 teeth...does plywood nicely.

Hi-ATB blades slice through plywood veneer fibers cleaner than any other grind. Your Duraline has a Hi-ATB grind. Infinity and Freud both offer great choices that are typically less expensive than the Forrest. The Infinity 010-080 (http://www.infinitytools.com/products.asp?dept=1198) and 010-060 (http://www.infinitytools.com/products.asp?dept=1197), and Freud LU80 (http://www.amazon.com/Freud-LU80R010-10-Inch-Ultimate-Melamine/dp/B0007WKBEQ/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1236115265&sr=8-1) (LU79 is the thin kerf) are all great examples of high tooth count, Hi-ATB grinds that should compare well with your Duraline....it'll be hard to get better than any of these, though I'm sure there are other precision Hi-ATB blades as good.

Umm, geez, you're welcome. I did post another blade for you to look at. :) :D

I've been using the Amana 60 tooth blades for pretty much all my cutting. I keep one set aside for strictly cutting plywood as cutting solid with them dulls it quicker. At about $45 a pop they are very reasonable. I have about 5 of them now and just go round in circles getting them sharpened. I always have a few that are nice and sharp.
