Has anyone dealt with Jesada Tools? Last month I placed an online order and received a confirmation. Have not heard anyting and have attempted to call them for the last three days but can't thru to them. Even sent them three e-mails and still no response.

Jerry,

Not looking good! Do a search on "So Jesada is now Afinity??" and I don't think you'll like what is says. It's up to you but I think you'll want to cancel you order and/or get your money back.

Regards and good luck, Joe

Jerry, it's been reported repeatedly in the forums for quite some time now that Jessada has pretty much become a place to avoid. Since the company was sold, customer service, etc., has become non-existant. As much as I love the Jesada cutters I own, it's been obvious that anything new I need will have to come from another source. Fortunately, there are other USA-made cutters available if you prefer them as I generally do.

Thanks guys,
I found that Jesada was sold and is now Jesada Austrialia located in Port Melbourne Victoria Australia. What I ordered from Jesada in Oldsmar Florida USA was a 3D Carver Starter Kit for $179.00. The new outfit in Australia is charging $299.90 for the same Kit. Too rich for my blood. Guess I was a dollar short and a day late. :)

Order your bits from Woodline....very good bits and excellent service and prices. ;)

Jerry,

The $299.90 is in Australian dollars. Also there is a 10% tax included that you do not pay if it is shipped overseas. So the $AU299.90 minus $AU30.00 ends up as about $US195 at current conversion rates plus shipping.

What goes around comes around (or something like that).

I was talking to Jesada many years ago and asked about the 3D Carver thing. The guy said that they had just bought the rights to the product from someone in Austraial for something like $40,000 and they had already made that back plus more in less than 3-4 months. Felt bad for the guy that invented it but that it was business.

Maybe the Austrialians are getting back at us.
