I am drawing up a blanket box. Want to line it with cedar, but dont want the top edge, when the lid is up, to look like its lined.. (dont want to see the edge of the cedar and the edge of the Sapelli.
The obvious thing to do is cap it with Sapelli but I wondered if anyone had just rabbeted the whole inside of the box, leaving about an inch of solid ..
