Amazing wood score

Friend of mine logged his property this last summer and this was one of the gold nuggets the loggers left behind, couldn't take it to the mill and couldn't split it for firewood (thank goodness). So he new I was always looking for wood so he gave me a call.
The logger said that he had never seen a wild cherry this large here in this area, I or my friend had never seen one this big and narly.

The cherry tree was so old that the bark converted to more of scale instead of the normal cherry bark.

and some old apple wood we think was planted around the turn of the century, it was standing and dead.
