I've been doing some research in this area (including here) and think I might take the plunge due to shop size, etc....
I have read some pretty good things about the jet 12" jointer/planer but nothing substantial about the Grizzly.
They are about the same price (with Grizzly typically less) but with free shipping now from Grizzly, it appears $200 or so less which is catching my attention. Also has longer beds (by 5") and 5hp vs 3hp (not that it matters to me... not a volume user).
SO... does anyone have one of these (or the 10" which is very competitively priced but with VERY short beds!!
