turned this bowl in about 20 miniutes using the easy rougher. put some BLO and bulls eye shelac and buffed a little...its not much but its round....................
critiques welcome

Interesting form David! Great looking wood and the color is really intense! What kind of wood is it? What are the approximate dimensions? Nice work - sure didn't take you very long!

I wonder if that wood is some form of cedar?

that is some nice wood. looks like cedar to me but not sure.

the wood is red cedar and it is 5 1/2 X 4 and it turns really good... thanks for the kind words

Hey Dave, that is some intense cedar you've got there. It looks like it's on fire. I sure hope the cedar chunk you gave me came from the same log. I plan on turning something from it this weekend if I get all my chores done this week.:)

Great looking bowl. Love turning cedar. Nice color to that one.
