Does any one know if either WorkSharp system can sharpen jointer/planer blades? I haven't found anything that says whether you can or can't.

My gut reaction is no. It might be possible to make a holding fixture for the blades and use it on top (maybe with the wide blade attachment underneath?) but I think think you'd have to have an extremely accurate jig to keep the bevel edge straight down the whole length. Never say never, but I haven't run across any forum posts with something that would do that for you.

The relatively new "Wide Blade Attachment" will handle blades up to 3" wide:

There is no Worksharp attachment for jointer and planer blades that I have heard about.

Look at the Makita horizontal sharpener. It WILL sharpen planer blades.

The Makita caught my eye the other day. I would like to know how the Makata compares to the Jet and Tormek vertical wheel. The Makita doesn't seem to be as popular. I can't find any reviews or comments on it.
