We are now the proud owner of an original Schlumpf turning. Talk about a piece of art...
It looks wonderful on the new mantle beside the other SMC turners collection.

Congratulations, all three pieces look really wonderful. I must say the piece Steve Schlumps made really shows his skills as a turner.

Who's next to share the mantel? Anything we can do to encourage you one way or the other? You may have to get a bigger house soon, lots of great turners out here in the vortex!

Glenn, It is a great thing to have art from others Steve is quite the turning whiz! Along with the others.

Congratulations Glenn, That's a nice collection.

But to complete the collection, you need something that will show the effort that goes into woodturning. Something with some major gouges in it, and a lot of tearout. Something with an uneven finish. Something that has no functional or ornamental value. In short, you need a Lux piece.

It's wonderful to have work from various artists in one's collection! That's a fabulous grouping on your new mantle, Glenn!
